This weekend I am heading to Chicago with Isabel for her Rockette Summer Intensive audition. The 2010 Rockette Summer Intensive, held in New York City, is a comprehensive training program that allows dancers to connect with the professional dance world and study the world famous Rockette precision dance technique. This summer program has become a training ground for Rockettes as 42 of its students have gone on to become Rockettes, including 5 students from the 2009 intensive. We’ll get audition results on March 1.

While in Chicago we’ll get some visiting time in with family, and since the audition is Sunday afternoon, we’ll be able to enjoy a stress-free Monday before heading home.
