Although this site does contain links to secular sites, it is my goal to provide homeschool information that is faithful to our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV and his successors, to all bishops in union with him, and to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
We homeschool year-round, taking time off when things come up or we just feel like it. During the summer, we don’t work AS HARD, but we still get the 3rs and lots of pe/music/art accomplished. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to find a way to incorporate read-alouds during the heat of the summer — that is just such a more wintery thing to do ….
I haven’t done this in the past, but we will be working on Math & English over the summer. It will be a light load, and mostly review. I am doing this because my kids are getting older and it’s more important. We will also do some fun stuff like Geography and Science.
We will be getting a head start on school. We live in TX, so I figure we can get ahead so when the whether is actually nice enough to play outside we can do so.
