Joe Kenney is a catering chef for his family’s business, Two Mike’s Catering. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Kenney has worked in kitchens for the better part of his life. His father opened their catering business when Kenney was just 10 years old. He comes from a large family of 13 kids and is no stranger to “feeding the masses.” In 2008, Kenney graduated with honors from the culinary school at St. Louis Community College Forest Park, which he considers one of the best-kept secrets in the Midwest. Now, at the age of 24, he is business partner with his father, Mike. Kenney talks to Chefs.com about his role as 2nd generation chef in his family’s business.
