For some time now, Max has been creating costumes and gowns from various fabrics and unwanted dress parts. She is a very good seamstress and designer. She came up with the idea of Scrap Gowns, a blog that documents her scrap gown creations. So, for 10th grade Art this year, I assigned Max her blog.
This Art class involves the creation of a blog and the ongoing reporting of her scrap gown projects. The course includes sewing, historical fashions, photography, web design, and writing. Max even has a “tip of the week.” She is just getting started, but there are already a couple of Scrap Gowns posted.
