Dancing in the Street, now in its third year, celebrates the opening of the St. Louis fall arts season. Grand Center is the place to be with four outdoor stages along Grand between Delmar and Lindell, featuring more than 50 dance companies.
Our studio’s dance company, Midwest Dance Theatre, will perform a large ballet entitled Enchanted Dream on the Washington Stage between 1 and 2 pm. The Patzius Performing Arts advanced tap class will perform Slid on the Fox Tap stage between 4 and 5 pm. Isabel and Maxine are in both of these dances.
Special guests this year are husband and wife team, Duo Adamo, performing their aerial ballet. Bill Shannon the ‘Crutch Master’ will do street performances.
There will be food, dancing, music, and even some audience participation. Don’t miss this fun and free family event!
