A day of prayer and fun with the Carmelites!
For those in the St. Louis area, the Carmelite Sisters DCJ will hold their 2nd annual Carmelite Day on Saturday, August 29, from 8:45 am – 4 pm at the Carmelite Sisters residence, 10341 Manchester Road in Kirkwood. This retreat is for Catholic girls, age 14-16, who would like to spend some time getting to know the Carmelites and their way of life.
The day will begin with Holy Mass at 9 am and will also include a talk by a Sister, time for prayer and reflection, recreation with the sisters, and time visiting with the residents at St. Agnes Home.
Isabel and Maxine attemded last year and loved it. It was a great way to start off the new school year.

I love those Carmelites. Does a daughter of yours have a vocation?

I love them too, and I do their websites for them. Not sure about the vocation. When she was little she always said she would grow up and be a nun. We’ll see.
