Isabel and Maxine performed today in the 2009 American Dance Awards competition. Isabel won Ultimate Gold for her solo pointe variation, La Fille Mal Gardee, and a special award for “Beautiful Lines, and Lovely Upper Body.” Max won a Gold for her solo pointe variation, Pas de Trois from Swan Lake. This was Max’s first competition.
In the overall awards, Isabel was 2nd runner up for Dancer of the Year! First runner up, and the actual Dancer of the Year are girls from our dance studio. So, our studio took the top three!
