First Communion Banners

When my oldest daughter made her First Communion we wanted to do something special for the priest, who was a close family friend. We decided to make a banner. Since then, each First Communicant has made a small felt banner in honor of their special day, to present to the priest giving the First Communion. It has been a nice tradition and each child looks forward to designing and creating their banner. Since we know we are giving it away, we always take a picture of our First Communicant with their artistic creation.

Here they are, all six of them!

Audrey, our last First Communicant, received her First Holy Communion on Sunday, January 18, 2009. Congratulations, Aud!

So cute that you have all the pictures lined up. You’re so much more organized than me! Lol! Great job 🙂

Ha! Thanks, Lacy, but it did take me some time to locate them all. I’m just glad I remembered to take a pic each time.

Those are great First Communion banners. The dresses and veils are also very adorable. My daughter just picked out her holy communion invitations and now we need to work on a banner. Thanks for the inspiration. The bottom left image is absolutely amazing
