Every fall we choose a different patron saint for our school year. For the 2011-2012 academic year we have chosen St. Louis, King of France.
For one reason or another we were having a hard time choosing this year. Today in Mass it just came to me. Was it because we were at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis? Could have been. Bob and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this fall. We were married at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. Another coincidence? Perhaps. We’ve been in St. Louis for almost 17 years. It’s about time we really got to know St. Louis, King of France.
