The 9/11 Memorial has a Facebook app that helps you “Honor the nearly 3,000 men, women, and children who perished in the attacks of 9/11. Dedicate your status, update your profile photo, and tell us how you’re remembering.”
If you are on Facebook you can update your profile photo to show that you are paying tribute to 9/11.
You can also dedicate your status to the memory of one of the nearly 3,000 victims of 9/11. A victim will be randomly assigned to you. If you prefer, you can dedicate your status to a specific individual.
