Cinema at Citygarden, organized by Cinema St. Louis, is a juried film competition open to St. Louis-area filmmakers. Participants created short works that incorporated Nature as a key element. The three winning films debuted today on Citygarden’s video wall.
We’re very excited that the first-place award went to “Nature’s Variation,” directed by my future son-in-law Chadwell Ruthsatz. Isabel, daughter number three, is the featured dancer. So, for today’s Friday field trip we headed down to the Citygarden to be among the first to see Chad’s video bigger than life. Way bigger!
Beginning Tuesday, May 31 six other competition films join the top three on the Citygarden video wall. The full program of nine films will play on a loop and continue at Citygarden through June 26.
