I always enjoy looking at other moms’ homeschool spaces and how neat and organized they are. Most of these moms are relatively new to homeschooling with a younger crowd. I can no longer relate. My homeschool area has had 19 years to grow into what it is today! Since my youngest is now in fifth grade, I’m in the process of clearing out everything related to grades below that, except for some favorites, like my Faith & Freedom readers. So, I feel good when everything is at least on a shelf and off the floor.

A recent thrift store visit with a net expenditure of $4 for a couple of shelf storage boxes did a nice job of cleaning up one of my messier shelves. What a deal! Here’s a “before” and “after”:

These are nice sturdy wooden boxes. The real question is, “why didn’t I get more?”
