Prayer for the beatification and canonization of John Paul II God our Father, you reward all who believe in you. May your servant, John Paul our Pope, vicar of Peter and Shepherd of your Church, who faithfully administered the mysteries of your forgiveness and love on earth, rejoice with you for ever in heaven. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen! |
Festival funHere are a few images from yesterday’s opening of the St. Charles Christmas Traditions Festival. Here is the complete cast of characters:
Above is Clara with the Master of Revels, my other kids + one hit the new ice rink, and Clara and her Nutcracker Prince parade down Main Street. For those of you in the St. Louis area, this is a very fun family event. Each character has their very own card – kids and adults love to collect them all!

Alas, I’m not in the St. Louis area, but I have to say if I were, well, I’d be there!
It looks like a lot of fun! And I love your new header, too. I really like the idea of changing it with the seasons. Cute.
Thanks, Vee! That header thing can become an obsession! I try not to labor over it too much. The Christmas fest is lots of fun, if you’re ever in the neighborhood . . well, you better look me up!
