What a wonderful email to receive from Ida’s Godmother:
Last Sunday while visiting with A B Burke I asked if he knew / remembered the Duplantier family, his eyes lit up and he said .. oh you mean Bob and Evann Duplantier? He said I sure do know them. He asked that we please give you his best regards.
What a wonderful man — I don’t know how he does it! He remembers everyone.
Several years ago Archbishop Burke confirmed several of our homeschool students at a special St. Louis Catholic Homeschool Association Mass. Years later, when meeting one of the boys he confirmed, Archbishop Burke pointed to the young man and said, “Benedict!” That was indeed the young man’s confirmation name. Archbishop Burke is an amazing man. Please keep him in your prayers.
