Today was our St. Louis Catholic Homeschool Assocation Closing Mass. Twelve high school graduates and seven eighth graders were recognized for their successful completion of these grade levels. Isabel is our high school grad this year. Our Spiritual Director, Rev. Timothy P. Elliot, gave a very thoughtful Pentecost homily. He also congratulated the parents on their homeschooling and told grads that the Church was depending on them. It was a lovely mass with a reception following. Here are our 2009 high school grads with Fr. Elliot. Isabel is 2nd from the right. Congrats, Izzy!

Prayer for the beatification and canonization of John Paul II God our Father, you reward all who believe in you. May your servant, John Paul our Pope, vicar of Peter and Shepherd of your Church, who faithfully administered the mysteries of your forgiveness and love on earth, rejoice with you for ever in heaven. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen! |
