Following a lecture at University of California-Berkeley last week, Phyllis Schlafly fell and fractured her hip. Last I heard, she was undergoing surgery in California.

To quote Michelle Malkin:

At 85, this mother, grandmother, and political icon remains a tireless activist, prolific author, and frequent lecturer. But because she is an unapologetic and outspoken conservative, she is demonized instead of lionized.

My husband worked for Phyllis for several years, and I still do freelance design work for her. Phyllis Schlafly, leader of the pro-family movement, is solely responsible for the defeat of the ERA. Please pray for her speedy recovery.
