It is easy to forget the many phases you go through. At one point, early in our homeschooling, we had uniforms. Overwhelmed by laundry and the last minute selection of childrens’ clothes as we headed off to some extra curricula activity every afternoon, I decided that uniforms were the answer. It actually worked and I have very fond memories of the “uniform years.” The girls really enjoyed their uniforms and helped in picking them out. I bought them at Marshall’s — plaid was in that year. The following year we switched to khaki shorts/pants with everyone having their own colored t-shirt. The next year it seemed the older girls were more capable in the laundry/clothes department and our uniforms went by the wayside. This photo, although missing 2 children, is one of my all-time favorites.

Thanks, Esther. Now they are 20, 15, 13, and 18 years old. Can’t forget the 10 (only boy) and 8 year olds who weren’t around yet! Where has the time gone?
