My favorite couple

Happy Valentine’s Day to my favorite couple!

Not including my husband and myself, this is my favorite couple, Paw-Paw and Maw-Maw. My mom sent me this scan this morning. It’s probably the only photo I have of the two of them as most of my Mom’s family photos were lost in Katrina. I spent a lot of time with these two and, within reason, they were always ready to do whatever I wanted. My Paw-Paw was an exceptional dancer, as is my husband, and I can still rememeber them going out to dances on Friday nights. Maw-Maw would seem to be mad that all the women wanted to dance with her husband all night, and as best he could, he would oblige them. She wasn’t really mad, and I know exactly how she felt as now the same thing happens to me!
