Links of the Month – Back to School

Well, not quite back to school, at least for us yet, but this will give you a few more weeks to check out these helpful links:

back to school

The Catholic homeschool resource links page at CatholicMom.com provides a variety of reference materials for Catholic homeschoolers. It’s a very thorough list with something for everyone.

While you are in the neighborhood, check out CatholicMom’s contests & giveaways page.

For prayers to take you through the entire school year, visit Catholic Prayers.

Visit my Links for the Pauline Year and bring your students closer to St. Paul this year. Be sure to check out the 52-week scripture study for the Pauline Year mapped out by Colleen at Footprints on the Fridge.

I posted this last month, but don’t miss Catholic Heritage Curricula’s Free Curricula page with lots of goodies for moms and students of all levels.

Houghton Mifflin has some very handy outline maps in pdf format. Free for personal and classroom use.

Printfee.com has oodles of printables for use in your homeschool. Items include a variety of calendars, clock faces, maps, animals, the Constitution, awards, and more.

The Basic Print Handwriting Worksheet Maker let you customize and create practice worksheets for your K – 1st graders.

Sign up for the Dover Sampler at Dover Publications and every week you’ll get an email with a link to free coloring pages, clip art, puzzles, literature and more from Dover books. Just download, print, enjoy!

And, lastly, if you haven’t already, consider choosing a patron saint for your homeschool. Our 2008-2009 patron is St. Louise de Marillac. St. Louise, pray for us!

Enjoy!
