I must say I was very disappointed that Big Brown didn’t get the Triple Crown. But I was even more dissapointed at the coverage, or I should say lack of coverage, that ABC gave to the Belmont Stakes winner, Da’ Tara. There are only a few minutes of glory in the winners circle, and we missed Da’Tara and company as ABC preferred to focus on Big Brown’s loss. Da’Tara ran a great race and deserved more attention! For Big Brown, another great horse, the Triple Crown just wasn’t meant to be. As for a Triple Crown winner, there’s always next year.
