This year marks the 40th anniversary of Row v. Wade. As part of the USCCB’s recent call to prayer, Nine Days of Prayer, Penance and Pilgrimage will take place January 19 through January 27, 2013. All the students from our homeschool co-op who are going to the March for Life received the pro-life pilgrim blessing this past Friday. The novena for life starts today. If you feel you need a reminder, you can even sign up for daily novena text messages! Simply text “9days” to 99000. You can also sign up for daily emails or just print the entire novena.
Lena at JOYfilled Family has created a beautiful printable St. Andrew Christmas Novena card. This novena starts on St. Andrew’s Feast Day, November 30 and ends on December 24. Thanks, Lena!

To bestow upon us unceasing favors
By having placed us
Under the special protection
Of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary.
Grant us, your humble servants,
Who rejoice in honoring her today upon earth,
The happiness of seeing her face to face in heaven. |
