From the Virtual St. Joseph Altar blog:
We’re in the home stretch now! If you begin your novena today it will end on the eve of the Solemnity. I will post each days’ prayers as we go along. Hope you will join us!
Novena to Saint Joseph:
Glorious Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, to you we raise our hearts and hands to implore your powerful intercession to obtain, from the benign heart of Jesus, all the helps and graces necessary for our spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly for the grace of a happy death and this special favour we now request . . . O guardian of the Word Incarnate, we feel animated with confidence that your prayers on our behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. O Glorious Saint Joseph, through the love you bear to Jesus Christ and for the glory of His name, hear our prayers and obtain our petitions. Amen.
Novena Day 1
O great St. Joseph, with feelings of unlimited confidence, we beg you to bless this novena that we begin in your honour. “You are never invoked in vain” says the seraphic St. Theresa of Jesus. Be you then to me what you have been to that spouse of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and graciously hear me as you did her. Amen.
Saint Joseph, pray for us!
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Row v. Wade. As part of the USCCB’s recent call to prayer, Nine Days of Prayer, Penance and Pilgrimage will take place January
19 through January 27, 2013.
All the students from our homeschool co-op who are going to the March for Life received the pro-life pilgrim blessing this past Friday.
The novena for life starts today.
If you feel you need a reminder, you can even sign up for daily novena text messages! Simply text “9days” to 99000. You can also sign up for daily emails or just print the entire novena.
Lena at JOYfilled Family has created a beautiful printable St. Andrew Christmas Novena card. This novena starts on St. Andrew’s Feast Day, November 30 and ends on December 24.
I’m double-posting from over at the Virtual St. Joseph Altar blog:

St. Joseph Novena with Free Download!
Don’t let the title fool you — this is a really fun craft to get little ones involved in a Novena to St. Joseph. Lacy at Catholic Icing has posted a great kids’ prayer craft, complete with lilies for St. Joseph, for the upcoming feast day.
Keep in mind: If you are planning a novena to end on the March 19th Feast Day, you’ll need to start on March 11.

Viva San Giuseppe!
O God, You have been pleased
To bestow upon us unceasing favors
By having placed us
Under the special protection
Of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary.
Grant us, your humble servants,
Who rejoice in honoring her today upon earth,
The happiness of seeing her face to face in heaven.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory.
