Welcome to the 2010 Virtual St. Joseph Altar!

In the tradition of the Sicilian St. Joseph Altars of New Orleans, the Virtual St. Joseph Altar made its online debut in February of 1999.

The 2010 Altar was wonderful, with over 7,000 visitors and 160 offerings. There were over 900 visitors on March 19 alone! I thank all who participated, making this a worthy honor to St. Joseph.

The 2010 Altar marks 12 years for the Virtual St. Joseph Altar. I invite you to prayer for the deceased loved ones that have been added to the prayer list, and keep these general prayer requests in your prayers. Be sure to visit the Virtual St. Joseph blog, and all the other pages of the site.

The 2011 Altar is now closed.

Throughout this year, donations of $25 or more will receive a digital copy of Viva San Giuseppe, A guide for Saint Joseph Altars. This booklet contains a brief history of the St. Joseph Altar, recipes, prayers and more. This out of print publication in pdf format is my gift to you.
