Welcome to the 2009 Virtual St. Joseph Altar!

In the tradition of the Sicilian St. Joseph Altars of New Orleans, the Virtual St. Joseph Altar made its online debut in February of 1999.

The 2009 Altar was wonderful, with over 4,000 visitors and 208 offerings. There were 825 visitors on March 19! I thank all who participated, making this a worthy honor to St. Joseph.

The 2010 Altar marks 12 years for the Virtual St. Joseph Altar. I invite you to add deceased loved ones to the prayer list. There is also a place to make general prayer requests. Be sure to visit the Virtual St. Joseph blog, and all the other pages of the site.

The 2010 Altar will open February 19.

Throughout this year, donations of $25 or more will receive a digital copy of Viva San Giuseppe, A guide for Saint Joseph Altars. This booklet contains a brief history of the St. Joseph Altar, recipes, prayers and more. This out of print publication in pdf format is my gift to you.
