New Orleans Television uses close to 200 archival photographs to trace the history of local TV from its earliest days in 1948, with memories of popular programs and personalities from over the past 60 years.

Filmed on location in Egypt and at the New Orleans Museum of Art. This documentary was timed to coincide with the traveling King Tut exhibit when it visited New Orleans.
In 1978, Tutankhamun, Live Forever, was released on videotape under the new title King Tut: Tomb of Treasure. The only change made to the original documentary is that in this release, by Public Media Video, a new narration track by Allen Luden has been added.
