The motives for deciding to homeschool are many. This annual conference is designed to introduce Catholic families to the endless possibilities of homeschooling.<\/p>\n Tom & April Hoopes are homeschooling parents of eight. Tom is Vice President of College Relations and writer in residence at Benedictine College in Kansas, where he received his Masters of Business Administration and is an instructor in the Journalism and Mass Communications department. He has written for the National Catholic Register<\/em> for more than 20 years and served as executive editor for 10 years. April received her Master\u2019s in Sacred Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Studies of Marriage and Family in Washington, D.C.\u00a0 For five years, Tom and April were editorial co-directors of Faith & Family<\/em> magazine. Tom\u2019s writing has appeared in First Things\u2019 First Thoughts<\/em>, Mater et Magistra<\/em>, National Review Online<\/em>, Catholic World Report<\/em>, Columbia<\/em>, Inside Catholic<\/em>, Patheos<\/em>, and Our Sunday Visitor<\/em>.
