Took us a long time to find this macaroon recipe and it has become our family favorite. Ida made these today (thanks Id!) and added some Christmas flair.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/thankevann.com\/hsg\/blogart\/xmas\/macaroons.jpg\" alt=\"macaroons\" width=\"400\" height=\"291\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Coconut Macaroons<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 c unbleached flour<\/li>\n<li>2 1\/2 c shredded coconut<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 ts salt<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 c sweetened condensed milk<\/li>\n<li>1 ts vanilla<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Preheat oven to 350 degrees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Mix flour, coconut and salt. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Stir well to make a thick batter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Drop by tablespoonfuls onto well-greased cookie sheets, allowing an inch between cookies. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan at once; and cool on racks.
