We picked up our blessed chalk at the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica yesterday and will do our Epiphany House Blessing this Wednesday, January 6.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong>20 + K + M + B + 10<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/h1>\n<p>While saying this prayer, the head of the household uses blessed chalk to inscribe outside, above (or near) the main door of the house:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>The 3 wise men<br \/><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong> K <\/strong><\/span>Kaspar<br \/><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong> M<\/strong><\/span> Melchior<br \/><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong> B<\/strong><\/span> and Balthasar followed the star of God\u2019s Son who became man<br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"> 20<\/span> <\/strong>two thousand<br \/><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong> 10<\/strong><\/span> and ten years ago.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong>+ +<\/strong><\/span> May Christ bless our home<br \/><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong> + +<\/strong><\/span> and remain with us throughout this new year.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If others are present:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>Almighty God, incline your ear.<br \/> May you bless us and all who are gathered here.<br \/> Send your holy angel who will defend us<br \/> and fill with grace all who live here.
