This poem was written by my daughter Ida. It was written shortly after she rescued Dodgy. This poor dog was a mess and a few months after we got him he lost most of his hair. If he hadn&#8217;t come to us I am sure he would be dead by now. Almost one year later, with all credit going to Ida, Dodgy is about 15 pounds heavier, and his numerous skin and coat afflictions are 99% gone!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thankevann.com\/hsg\/blogart\/pets\/dodgy.jpg\" alt=\"dodgy\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Hello<\/strong><br \/>\nI brought you home! I brought you home!<br \/>\nI&#8217;m calling you my own.<br \/>\nBut is it true? I think that you<br \/>\nHave claimed ME as your own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It&#8217;s fine with me. So fine with me.<br \/>\nI hold you in my heart.<br \/>\nAnd I will stay, I&#8217;ll always stay!<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll never ever part.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I needed you. You needed me<br \/>\nAnd now you&#8217;re at my side.<br \/>\nThe things we&#8217;ll do! Just me and you.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m ready for the ride.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I love your face.
