I know we are longing for warmer temps and the great outdoors. But, with a bit of extra effort, you can revive your students and yourself and actually make it to spring.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<strong>Our Lady of Lourdes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>February 11 is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Take a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lourdes-france.org\/index.php?goto_centre=ru&#038;contexte=en&#038;id=405\">virtual pilgrimage to the grotto <\/a>and walk in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lourdes-france.org\/index.php?goto_centre=ru&#038;contexte=en&#038;id=423&#038;id_rubrique=423\">footsteps of St. Bernadette<\/a>. You can even liven up your desktop with some beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lourdes-france.org\/index.php?goto_centre=ar&#038;contexte=en&#038;id=867&#038;name=Wallpapers\">Lourdes wallpapers<\/a>. <\/li>\n<li>And, here&#8217;s an Our Lady of Lourdes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fcpeace.com\/friends\/Activities\/Virgin\/26-Appear-Lady%20of%20Lourdes.pdf\">coloring page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul><strong>St. Valentine&#8217;s Day:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>February 14 is St. Valentine&#8217;s Day. A favorite in our house has always been creating valentines with doilies. All you need are doilies in all shapes and sizes, glitter, glue, and some creative kids!<\/li>\n<div style=\"float:left; padding:5px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thankevann.com\/hsg\/blogart\/feb\/heart.jpg\" alt=\"heart\" \/><\/div>\n<li>For a Sacred Heart or Immaculate Heart craft, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewtn.com\/CatholicCrafts\/valentines.htm\">EWTN craft corner<\/a>.\n<\/ul>\n<ul><strong>Mardi Gras:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>February 24 is Mardi Gras. EWTN provides some of the best resources online for a Holy Lenten experience, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewtn.com\/devotionals\/stations\/face.htm\">Stations of the Cross<\/a> and details on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewtn.com\/faith\/lent\/fast.htm\">fasting and abstaining<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wf-f.org\/\">Women for Faith and Family<\/a> offer a very nice <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wf-f.org\/WFFDomCh.html\"><em>Lent &#038; Easter Sourcebook<\/em><\/a> that I have always found useful in my homeschool. <\/li>\n<li>For the younger crowd, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catholicmom.com\/\">CatholicMom&#8217;s<\/a> printable <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catholicmom.com\/stations_kids.htm\">Stations of the Cross coloring booklet<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thankevann.com\/stjoseph\/\">Virtual St. Joseph Altar<\/a> opens February 19. If you don&#8217;t know about St. Joseph Altars, make a visit. Lots of animals are more active and more interesting in the colder weather.<\/li>\n<li>Bundle up and go on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.savefile.com\/files\/1274469\">winter walk nature scavenger hunt<\/a>.
