It’s Movie Time!

Here's what we're watching, but just because it's here, doesn't always mean it was good!

Pray for the canonization of JPII

God our Father, you reward all who believe in you. May your servant, John Paul our Pope, vicar of Peter and Shepherd of your Church, who faithfully administered the mysteries of your forgiveness and love on earth, rejoice with you for ever in heaven. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen!

Our 2012 St. Joseph Altar

This post is part of the 3rd Annual St. Joseph Altar Blog Fest. If you made an Altar for St. Joseph’s Feast Day, and would like to be included, make a blog post about your St. Joseph Altar, including details and pics, then link it here. Linking is open and will continue till March 30. Head over to the Virtual St. Joseph Altar blog for all the details!

We use our upright piano for the base of our Altar. By strategically placing a couple of sturdy boxes, turned upside down, I add a few more levels. One of our school desks is used for the front of the Altar. Covered with a nice table cloth we’ve got a multi-level nice size altar. Our altar this year is not as big as it has been. Audrey made the beautiful, and delicious, cross cake. Crozet made the chocolate crown of thorns.

Viva San Giuseppe!

  • Everything is beautiful, Evann! I love the altar cloth too! Gosh, what a lovely sight to see. I like that you include photos on your altar of the ones you love!!

  • Thanks, Gardenia! The table cloth came from K-Mart — an after Christmas sale one year. It has come in very handy.
