Thanks Easter! Missed you too, where have you been? I have just been busy with running around. Should ease up after next week. This page is a bit harder than the Year of St. Paul was - I always check your sites for ideas and links!

Great idea! I came across this website last week. Priests In Crisis has the continuing story of Fr. Gordon MacRae who is serving a 33 yr. prison sentence for a crime he did not commit. It also has a link where you can sign up to spiritually adopt a priest, bishop, or seminarian. They will send you the name of someone to pray for each year.

Twenty-Third Publications offers The Sacred Heart of Jesus as a parish resource for this Year for Priests, written by Catholic biblical scholar, Stephen J. Binz. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a title in the acclaimed Threshold Bible Study, a plan to involve the whole parish in the prayerful study of Scripture.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus focuses on the biblical symbol of the heart, the core of the human person and center of the human will and passion. Though the human heart can become hardened, God has promised to change our hearts of stone to hearts of flesh. The heart of Jesus, pierced and flowing with living streams of blood and water, is a threshold inviting us into the experience of divine love.
