The Year of the Priest has as its patron St. John Vianney. The other saint we should all invoke to pray for more vocations is our own St. Alphonsus Liguori, the patron saint of vocations, founder of the Redemptorists, and one of the great doctors of the church…

Great idea! I came across this website last week. Priests In Crisis has the continuing story of Fr. Gordon MacRae who is serving a 33 yr. prison sentence for a crime he did not commit. It also has a link where you can sign up to spiritually adopt a priest, bishop, or seminarian. They will send you the name of someone to pray for each year.
